Copy files required from Forlib* Directory to the working directory Forlib. Ensure Forlib is empty for easy viewing of files. On the Linux P.C go to Openpartner. Go to OpenNet directory and find address /LSep/54/DO/Forlib this is now reading the Forlib directory on the E54 and should now display icons of required shapes. With the split screen option on go to /Home/Users/Aero1/Disk0/Milos/Forlib this directory should also be kept empty for ease of working. Highlight icons from D0/Forlib and copy to Milos/Forlib by dragging on one folder and placing over larger folder icon.

Using TopCAD - 5.04

Click on TopCAD - 5.04 and place on screen. Use function C.A.M/Read/for and units of measurement will be in inches. Click on Navigator/disk0/Milos/Forlib* this will display required shapes click on required shape and [ok][ok] and when message Rotaion=0 homothety=1 appears on screen and shape should appear.

To delete unwanted lines choose Delete and click a line using middle mouse button. To write as a .DXF file choose C.A.M/Write and DXF. The file displayed at bottom of screen on first run will default to /Home/Users/Aero1/Filename .DXF this must be changed so go to navigator and click on Disk0/Milos/Forlib then Find to display Forlib files click on this and [ok] return DXF file has now been created for subsequent shapes correct address should appear.

Then repeat Read/For and load without saving. When complete click on all folders in Milos/Forlib and use filter *.DXF for ease of working click on folders and copy to Data/Hmacdk/Flop0. The procedure below about mounting a medium and transferring by disc was used before the GFM and Lectra PC were linked so now The lectra can be accessed via Disk0 on 'Hmacdk' (L:).

Insert disc and go to file mount a medium when complete drag files from Milos/Forlib to Folp0. Error message action not permitted will appear this is a bug and can be ignored. Go to file and unmount a medium before removing disc. Take disc and go to the G.F.M P.C. (This method in italic has been replaced).

Errors

1. If shape does not appear on nesting tables then it may have been saved in incorrect format. It should be version R12 not R14.
